By the grace of God and a long tradition of donor support our schools have managed to keep their average tuition less than the tuition cost of similar sized markets . However, funding a legacy of excellence comes at a cost and the need is great. To help families afford tuition the Archdiocese of New Orleans Office of Catholic Schools has established the following opportunities:
Second Collection for Catholic Schools
Annually, to kick-off Catholic Schools Week, a second collection is held in all church parishes in the Archdiocese of New Orleans to support Catholic Schools. To read Archbishop Aymond's letter in support of the second collection for Catholic Schools, please click here.
Champions of Catholic Education Tuition Assistance Fund
The fund proceeds tuition assistance to families who without support would be unable to send their children to Catholic School. To donate to Champions please visit: https://nolacatholic.org/donate and select Catholic Schools Champions of Education Tuition Assistance Fund as the designation.
Aspiring Scholars
Aspiring Scholars is a new State Tuition Organization sponsored by the Archdiocese of New Orleans. Any business or high net worth individual can direct their Louisiana State Tax Liability to Aspiring Scholars for the purposes of providing approximately a $4200 to $4600 scholarship to qualifying families seeking a Catholic education. Special needs students can be individually designated for gifts as well. For more information please visit: aspiringscholarsla.org.
#iGiveCatholic
#iGiveCatholic is a giving program established by the Catholic Community Foundation that is now a National Catholic campaign that runs for 2 weeks in late November through early December each year. Nearly all of our schools participate. Donors can go to https://neworleans.igivecatholic.org/ and find a school to support!
