Interfaith Prayer Service for Our City

On Monday, January 6, 2025 the Archdiocese of New Orleans hosted an Interfaith Prayer Service to bring the community together in prayer and mourning following the New Year's Day attack. President Joe Biden, First Lady Jill Biden, Governor Jeff Landry and his wife Sharon, Mayor LaToya Cantrell, and many civic officials attended the prayer service lead by Archbishop Aymond and leaders of Christian, Jewish, Muslim, and Buddhist congregations. The capacity crowd at St. Louis Cathedral and thousands more watching on television and online witnessed a truly solemn, moving, and beautiful service. "Let there be peace on earth!"
