As has become tradition, with the abstinence from meat asked of the faithful during Fridays in Lent, come the annual listing of the Friday Fish Frys. This list has been compiled from information reported to the Archdiocese of New Orleans and the Clarion Herald.
This year, in addition to the supporting area Catholic parishes, schools, and ministries, the community can vote for their favorite fish fry during the inaugural Fantastic NOLACatholic Friday Fish Fry Challenge. The community will be able to vote for their parish or their favorite fish fry in a Parishioners Choice category. A judges panel will meet on March 20 to taste entries from parishes for the inaugural Judges Panel Award.
