Thirty Hours of Adoration for Our Country

Ascension of Our Lord, 1900 Greenwood Drive, LaPlace, invites you to participate in Thirty Hours of Eucharistic Adoration for Our Nation which will be held in the Church beginning Friday, September 13 at 9 a.m. and will conclude on Saturday, September 14 at 3 p.m. With all the political unrest and crime that we are exposed to each day, it is clear to see that our nation desperately needs Jesus. When seeking the Lord and His mercy, there is value in calling our people together to pray. In addition to individual prayer and Adoration, we will recite the Rosary, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, the Angelus and offer prayers of Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Immaculate Heart of Mary and to St. Joseph throughout the event.
