In Lent, we confront sin, seek to refocus our lives spiritually and celebrate God’s mercy and love. This retreat will consider traditional Lenten themes of temptation, weakness, sin and suffering, but will focus on gaining a sharper focus in daily living. Rev. Joe Palermo practiced law for twelve years before hearing God’s call to the priesthood. He was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of New Orleans in 1994, serving in several parishes and archdiocesan administrative positions. He regularly gives retreats, missions and days of prayer on fostering the spiritual life and is currently on staff at Notre Dame Seminary. To register, please contact a Retreat Captain or you may call the Retreat/Hospitality Coordinator, Susan Halligan at (504) 267-9604 or 1-866-937-9170.
