Libation and Remembrance of the Ancestors - A Juneteenth Commemoration

The Office of Black Catholic Ministries is collaborating with several community organizations to host the following Juneteenth commemoration events.  Please join us as we pray with the community on Saturday, June 11 at Libation and Remembrance of the Ancestors at 11am. We will gather at 2513 Bayou Rd, New Orleans, LA 70119 where archdiocesan Office of Black Catholic Ministries Director, Dr. Ansel Augustine will lead a time of prayer with the community, and culture bearers, where all will remember our deceased loved ones that have sacrificed to make a better way for all of us.
