Navigating the Holidays with Grace

For those grieving the loss of a loved one during the holiday season, Jewell Bayhi will present a full-day retreat at The Cenacle on the Lake Retreat House (5500 St. Mary Street, Metairie.)

Cost of the day is $35 and includes lunch.

Jewell Bayhi is the Coordinator for Grief Ministry for the Archdiocese of New Orleans in the Office of Marriage and Family Life.  She is also an advocate for Redbird Ministry , a member of their retreat team, and a member of the National Association of Grieving Children.  Jewell has been involved in Grief Ministry for many years. She has personally experienced the loss of her son, her parents, and many close friends.  She has spoken at conferences on grief in Mississippi, Las Vegas, New Orleans, and Orlando.  Prior to her fulltime Grief Ministry, Jewell was a DRE at Mary, Queen of Peace in Mandeville, Louisiana and St. Edmond in Lafayette, Louisiana.
