"Christ and the Question of Transcendental Beauty" 3rd Annual Catholic Art Lecture

All are invited to attend the St. Louis IX Art Society's 3rd annual Catholic Art Lecture, co-hosted by Notre Dame Seminary, on the evening of Thursday, February 15th, 2024, from 7:00-8:20pm in Schulte Auditorium at Notre Dame Seminary.  Caitlin Smith Gilson, Ph.D., a SL9 Literary Artist and Professor of Philosophy at the University of Holy Cross (New Orleans), will offer a lecture entitled "Christ and the Question of Transcendental Beauty."  We hope you will join us for a thought-provoking evening as we explore the nature of beauty in light of Christian revelation with the help of some of the Church's greatest philosophers, theologians, and authors.  This event is free and open to the public, so we hope you will join us.
