Come Celebrate Black Catholic History Month at the Annual Black Saints Celebration!
All are welcome to join the community at our Annual Black Saints Celebration on Saturday, November 4th. This celebration of Black Catholic History Month will feature preaching by Deacon Jesse Watley and music by our own Archdiocesan Mass Gospel Choir. We will also have an update on the Canonization process of Venerable Mother Henriette Delille by Sister Alicia Costa SSF who just returned from a visit with Pope Francis at the Vatican. The annual event will begin with a parade beginning at the Sister of the Holy Family Motherhouse at 10 am and will culminate with a prayer service at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church beginning at noon. All are welcome to participate. If your parish, school, or ministry would like to participate in the parade, please contact Mr. Anthony Carter at [email protected]. For more information about the event, please contact the Office of Black Catholic Ministries at [email protected].
