Evening of Reflection for Survivors of Suicide

Location: St. Benilde Church, 1901 Division St., Metairie, LA

In observance of Survivors of Suicide Loss Day (Survivors Day), St. Benilde Grief Ministry will host an evening for Survivors of Suicide Loss to connect and hope through sharing their experiences.

The theme for Survivors Day at St. Benilde is Thanks-Giving. A video from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) will be shown, with a discussion to follow. The evening will conclude with a candlelight vigil and praying of the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary at Mary’s Grotto.

There is no cost to attend and dinner will be turkey and/or ham with various sides from La Madeleine. A table will be set-up in the cafeteria for framed photos of loved ones to be displayed.
