Saturday, October 21, 2017 is the 26th annual Children's Mission Day sponsored by the Missionary Childhood Association, Archdiocese of New Orleans. The theme is: “Mission at the heart of the Church”.
What is Children's Mission Day? It's a special archdiocesan event for students at catholic schools and parishes to come together to celebrate their baptismal call to be missionary. Students from grades 3-7 are invited to participate in a full day of music, dance, mission activities and guest speakers from around the world. Music will be provided by Mr. Roberto Matthews and a special performance by the St. Peter Claver Liturgical Dance Group will be enjoyed by all. Mass will be celebrated by Archbishop Gregory M. Aymond.
Students from the archdiocese are invited to participate in creating a logo for our CMD T-shirts. The winning logo will be printed on the T-shirts for the Children's Mission Day. The winner will receive a free T-shirt and lunch.
