September 6, 2021Update - Power was restored to most of Our Lady of Wisdom the evening of 9/6/2021
Family and friends of all of those within Notre Dame Health System:
Our facilities sheltered the storm with no major issues. Currently, Chateau de Notre Dame and Wynhoven Healthcare Center are on regular power. Our Lady of Wisdom remains on generator power. Entergy is working hard to get them back online. We continue to provide daily phone updates to family members. Visitations remain cancelled at this time and we will update when they will be resumed.
At all times, the safety and care of our residents remains our top concern and we continue to deal with COVID as well.
Our Hospice, Home Care and Home Health ministries are working diligently to get back to pre-storm levels of activity.
It is our people who make a difference and set us apart. Hurricane Ida has allowed us to see the best in our staff. We cannot thank them enough. They are our SUPERSTARS!
