UPDATED 9/10/2024 - All Area Catholic Schools Closed Wednesday

9/10/2024 Update: parents are asked to check communications from their children's schools in regards to Thursday. With the most recent forecast calling for Francine to take a more eastward approach, some area Catholic schools have already made decisions regarding school closures on Thursday. ALL schools remain closed tomorrow and schools will announce to their parents any additional closure information.

9/9/2024 - The Department of Catholic Education and Faith Formation has been in communication with civil authorities as we prepare for possible inclement weather from Tropical Storm Francine.
 
In light of these conversations about potential impacts to our area and in consultation with Archbishop Aymond, we have decided to announce all area Catholic schools will be closed on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. Additionally, we ask that schools suspend all after school activities tomorrow, Tuesday, September 10, so that school families and all school faculty and staff may make the necessary preparations for the storm.
 
Decisions regarding any further closures will be made once more information becomes available over the coming days.
